This issue of Tomorrow's Leaders Today is dedicated to the vision of founder, Beatrice Welters. Camp Dogwood has provided a nature respite for countless youth from not only Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia but also the Navajo Nation and many states across the country. It has also been a place to welcome international staff from the United Kingdom, Trinidad and Tobago, and Mexico. It has served as a training ground for a Pulitzer and Tony winner. It offered an opportunity for AnBryce undergraduate Scholars to work and engage with young people. Former campers made lifelong friends and returned as staff.
