STORIES & TESTIMONIALS

AnBryce has been heaven-sent! This is Zoey’s second year attending Camp Dogwood and her third year participating in the Saturday Institute. Both programs have helped her develop strong social skills and greater confidence. Without Camp Dogwood, Zoey would never have had the opportunity to spend two unforgettable weeks surrounded by the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains — immersed in nature, hearing its peaceful sounds, and creating lasting memories with new friends. We are grateful.

Quatina Rosser, Grandmother

It was pretty cool being able to do things like work on a capstone project or work on a business plan. Those are things that I don’t necessarily think I would have done if I wasn’t a STEP for those three summers. So definitely that has played a role in where I am today and the knowledge that I have today or even my ability to help my younger sisters before they got to the ages where they could even do things like STEP.

Umu-Hawa Jalloh, AnBryce Alumna

Being part of the AnBryce undergraduate scholars initiative at NYU has instilled in me the desire to give back. I recognize that I have made it to this point in my career due to the mentoring of the Foundation’s co-founders and other mentors that I have gained through the AnBryce network. For those of you considering participation in AnBryce, I would say, do it! Taking part in the AnBryce programs can be life-changing.

Antonio Durant, NYU AnBryce Alum, Summer Camp Staffer, Advisory Council

Countless alumni echo their sentiment. Campers leave with new skills, mentors return as volunteers, and scholars become leaders in their fields.
