For high school students, the Student Adventures in Leadership (SAIL) program teaches key skills for college applications and career development. SAIL strives to provide every student with the tools and guidance to explore their career interests and develop their job skills. It also prepares each student for work-based learning experiences, such as job shadowing and internships, offering opportunities to practice skills and network with potential employers.
All applicants must complete an online application and participate in a formal interview. Two references are required and checked before an offer is made. All hires must complete and pass a background check (annually if returning), including The Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public Website.
Students gain confidence, writing, problem-solving, leadership development, and independence.
